Former American College of Radiology CEO dies

Neiman Harvey Neiman, former CEO of the American College of Radiology, died June 5 following a long illness. He was 71. Neiman, who became executive director in 2003, was a member of ACR for nearly 40 years, and had been named one of its distinguished fellows. He had also been chair of the ACR board. The group credits him for leadership actions that made ACR "one of the world's largest and most influential medical specialty societies, taking historic steps to promote health care quality, safety and efficiency."
